Senses for infrared remote control activity for 60 minutes. Then senses for IR remote control activity or movement for a further 75 minutes. If still no activity is sensed, the TV and peripherals are switched off, saving active and standby power waste. The AV Advanced PowerStrip+ (AV APS+) reduces active and standby power loss in home entertainment setups by detecting when the TV and related electronics are not being used and turning them off.
