Trails Of Painted Ponies TEWA Horse Christmas Ornament 2006 Retired. "Tewa Pony," Designed by Pueblo artist Tom Tapia, celebrates the geometric and animal designs that have adorned Cochiti pottery for centuries. Known for his pottery, painting, and day job as a tribal policeman, this Tewa native has adorned his pony with traditional designs. The sash represents good faith and fortune, the blanket with a geometric pattern honors the horse as a bold and strong being, the eagle represents good luck, and the hand print stands for the loving touch of all creation. The Tewa horse is black with white feet. Preowned: EUC. There is a small piece of the remaining tag which has been cut off. The pictures with the shadows are taken outside in the natural light. Minor color variations may be due to screen display settings and professional lighting. Please see pictures for approximate measurements. Collectible. Many uses in addition to the traditional holiday ornament- would be a great gift for someone to cherish all year round. No original packaging- but it will be packaged with care.
