@chicadida omg I have this bag in black, navy, red, blush, raspberry (trying to sell bc I already have hot pink and red bags), and the big red Gemini. I’m prob forgetting some. Which one is the Robinson? I have a brand new red Tory bag that I bought retail before I discovered posh so I never used it and I want to sell it but not sure what the model is and I’m too lazy to take a ton of photos.

@msrogo I’m jealous! I want the Robinson in that many colors 😂😂 It’s the tote bag that’s on her website right now, just search Robinson tote on there. But the newer one looks different than the style I prefer- which is the one that has a top-zip closure. I really want that one in red if the price is right, I have my eye on a few right now!

@chicadida which model is mine? It’s not the Robinson tote? I just googled Robinson tote and I saw two different totes - the ones with the buckles in the straps (which is mine, that has the 3 compartments inside, including the middle one with zipper) and the one where the straps attach to the bag directly (no buckle). But I’ve also seen that within a line like McGraw or Robinson, there are different styles and the tote is just one style.

@msrogo they have the Robinson in a beautiful blue color on her website right now! Go to Tory’s Burch’s website and search the Robinson tote 😀 This one is the York Buckle tote. They discontinued them because a lot of people have trouble with the handles falling apart, which is also why I prefer the Robinson. I superglued the edges of the handle on my brown YB as soon as they started to lift.

@chicadida ah yes - I’ve had the edges of the handles start to separate; I’ve used nail glue to fix and they’ve held up fine. The two I’m selling don’t have that though. I looked at the red bag I need to list and it’s the small Robinson with double zip. It’s a shoulder bag but not a tote. I paid $189 and never used it so I hate to list it knowing I’ll be lucky to get $100. I still prefer the York, but good to know the Robinson straps don’t separate. TY!

@msrogo I was thinking the same thing 😂 we’d totally be best friends! I’ll never buy retail again now that I’ve found these resale sites, I always get lucky with the best deals on here! I resell stuff that I thrift too, so I guess it’s good I’ve found a way to make some money with my shopping/deal finding addiction lol if you haven’t gotten into that yet look up some videos about it on YouTube 😉😉 you’d probably enjoy it!

@msrogo btw I see that you’re in Florida, that’s where I’m originally from! I grew up in Tallahassee and lived in Tampa for 3 years. My parents still live in Tallahassee so I usually come back to visit a couple of times a year. I have friends all over the state now since a lot of them have moved around lol

I always lose $ when I resell no matter how good a deal I get when I buy. When you add what I pay for shipping plus the selling fee, I always come out behind. I don’t know how anyone can make money selling stuff but I’m happy to get rid of the excess anyway. And it all goes right back to buying more stuff I don’t need!!
