@jill2223 Hi Jill, Thank you for your question. It is a good question. The hardware is neither gold nor silver. Rather, I would describe it as a matte metallic color that blends with the black purse rather than a gold or silver color that stands out against a black purse. I added two more pictures of the hardware that I hope will help.
