trishcarroll3 @malasinya they are true to size. I normally wear a 7.5 and thought i could make these work but they were just a bit too small for my feet. The normal scuff marks reference the bottom of the shoe, shown in picture.

trishcarroll3 @malasinya This is evidently a lighting issue in the pictures. The shoes are scuff free on the sides. The only scuffs are on the bottom/soles of the shoes as shown in the pictures.
