Blending comfort with fashion, this NWT Tori Richard discontinued print aloha shirt is an island staple. It features 100% Cotton Lawn fabric, which boasts vibrant, colorfast details and a lightweight, breezy texture. '1956, Microtropics' discontinued print, Pit-to-Pit: 20", Length: 28" Tori Richard was founded in 1956 by Mort Feldman, and partners Mitsue Aka and Janice Moody, who named the company after daughter Victoria Moody and son Richard Feldman. They began by making women’s resort clothing and in 1969 added men’s Hawaiian style shirts. In the 1960s Tori Richards became known for their use of engineered prints – prints specifically designed to fit a garment’s shape. The clothing was very fashion forward and was often featured in leading fashion magazines. By the late 1980's the company had all but abandoned its women’s wear, focusing on men’s Hawaiian shirts. They came very close to closing, but the Feldman family was able to reestablish their position as a creator of imaginative prints. In 2000 they officially relaunched the women’s wear division and is still run today by the Feldman family.
