Impulse purchase while moping around reading running shoe reviews when injured, I can’t personally speak to the fit or ride, but I was sold on the lightweight high cushion, aggressive heel and forefoot rocker, and dual foam midsole for energy return. From what I hear, they sound like a great shoe for longer, uptempo runs. Even writing this out now, part of me still reallyyy wants to try these and doesn’t want to let them go, which of course is the whole reason I missed the return window to begin with. However, I’m currently breaking up with all of my running shoes with a 5mm drop or lower because they inevitably lead to me re-aggravating an old running injury and I’m trying to stop the self-destructive cycle.
