Tommy Singer is a renown Navajo Silversmith, he tragically died in 2014 in a motorcycle accident at the age of 74. His unique style is easily recognizable and his work is known world wide. This amazing concho belt is a pictorial and tells the story of the Navajo traditional life on the reservation. Each of the nine sterling silver oblong conchos, one buckle and 8 conchos, is an individual scene with intricate details done in overlay technique. Made in the 1970's each concho measures 3" long by 2" high and is on the original black leather belt which shows that it was worn and loved. A remarkable example of Tommy's talent. All handmade with his unique flair for design, this belt is a collection of silver paintings and is wearable art at it's finest.. This is a rare find for a collector of fine vintage Native American jewelry.
