rubylaw @labradoodle05 hi. This dress is absolutely appropriate for dancing which is the reason I bought it. I just haven’t worn it due to weight loss. The hem flares at the bottom and as you can see from the added photos is approximately 40 inches across. The hem on the back is approximately 4 inches longer than the front hem. It is a beautiful design. Please see additional photos.
