Vintage Tokens & Icons Silver-Toned NYC MTA Subway Token Pendant/Necklace - New In Box. This beautiful necklace was created in 2004 to celebrate New York City Subway’s 100th anniversary. Crafted from authentic dime-sized Y-cut New York transit tokens circulated in 1953. The pendant is engraved with the words “New York City Transit Authority.” Back of the necklace is hallmarked NYCT and in a sterling silver bezel set that holds token (back marked “Sterling”). The bezeled pendant measures 3/4” in diameter and is officially licensed by the New York Transit Authority. Hangs from a rubber necklace approximately 18” long, with silver lobster claw clasp. Vintage keepsake is a piece of history and nostalgia for anyone who loves the Big Apple. Original New York City subway map-themed gift box and Certificate of Authenticity.
