Inclined to move toward purchase but need to verify a particular measurement or 2 before doing so.
What I need is to get ALONG THE INSIDE OF THE LINING (when laid flat) the measurement directly under the armhole on one side... from side seam to side seam along the inside back. This would effectively provide the usable chest room for wear.
Also need to know the Inside back measurement from side seam to side seam for the waistline.

Hi. Please correct me if I misunderstood. You want me to measure the back panel from inside. And you are concern if it will fit Your Bust properly? I just want to make sure I understand. but the front panels will always be bigger than the back. Please answer . I will get the measurements the way you want now. @nushamalenkaya ... thank you for the good communication. Perhaps you're right that indeed the front from side seam to side seam on the inside will garner a greater measurement than the back from side seam to side seam along the inside.
Gee, ultimately what I'm trying to establish is: what is the maximum available space for a body on the inside when the coat is fastened -- so however you can get that measurement would be good. 🤔

Gee....cannot make out where the side seams are as to the tape measure thus don't know what numbers depict the chest & waist. Please decipher that I may understand.

@starraether I already packed it back in cover . I took measurement tape and started where side seam meats the lower point of sleeve opening (arm pit )and measure it all the way around back to the side seam( where I started) . The inner armpit level line is 42”
And inner waist line is 38” . unfortunately even if I take it out again from cover the coat , I physically couldn’t get better pictures because I am holding camera with one hand and tape with the other.
