I need to sell more in my closet without going down on price. I've been on posh for a while, but recently just got super in to it. I just need tips on how to sell more, be a better seller, and tips on how to get host picks! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Happy poshing 💕

iamthetrend @alainastultz share share share! Also when someone likes something don't reply with "interested"? Attend all parties and try to keep your wardrobe up to date, trends are more likely to sell then those that are out of style. Model if possible but be creative with your choice of outfit, hopefully this helps

tamarismom Follow all Poshmark rules. Place your items in all theme related parties. Attend parties. Follow everyone who follows you and some of their followers. Search for items of same brand you're selling and follow those sellers and buyers. Listen to the other ladies who will give you advice in near future 😉

kc1101 @alainastultz Don't make anymore mark downs! It can take up to a year to sell a certain item, unless you are in a hurry! I will send you party invites and hopefully that will help😊 just be patient and have fun! I have only been on Posh for 9 months so I know things sell in there own time!

vacat Your cover shots look good, so there's no issue there. You don't trade or use PayPal, again no issue there. I think the main thing is to follow more people. Follow everybody - most will follow back. Go to tumblr every week and find out which parties are coming up and the hosts. Congratulate the host and ask them to take a look at your closet. Don't tag them in your items because that's just rude - unless they ask you to!! Everyone loves giving someone their first HP, so just get your name out there. Find someone's closet that you admire and be social. Strike up a conversation. It takes awhile and sales are slow all over right now, but you'll get there. Follow and share like a mad demon. People will learn your name if they see it enough on their newsfeed.

Please Lmk if you ever need help or have questions😊💖 I would say yet the best hint is to share your items as much as possible and also share to the parties. Share others items too💜💛 to get followers, go to someone who has a ton and follow people who are following them, as many will follow you back. To get host picks, make sure you follow posh rules and you can even tag the host of the party to ask if they might pick something from your closet. The more people you share with the more you will get to know people💜

vacat Oh, forgot to mention: go to @florence79 and sign up for her PM tips. Always excellent advice!! If you start using a photo app, don't do so much that you ruin your cover shots. You want them to be neat and clear.

katz2 @alainastultz Hi, I'm Clara and I've only had my closet since October of 2013. The best advice is to follow ALL the advice of these wonderful ladies. You need to share, follow and join the parties. Share the Host Picks from the parties. Check out the Host Pick closets, share & follow them. As in retail, sales are cyclical, it's never a good time after the holidays, so don't beat yourself up. Get your exposure by sharing & the sales will follow.😘💕💕

alainastultz @elisehunter I just read that giving out your email is against posh rules. I have done that before just because I did not want to negotiate on the picture. Will this prevent me from getting a host pick??

elisehunter Yes, actually, it is. I'm not saying this is what you're doing, but it leaves the perception that you're taking sales offline. Don't do it. Negotiate under a different listing or create a "Negotiation" listing and negotiate there. Hope this helps. LMK if you have any other questions. thejeweladdict Many people are unsure of the rules when they start. My suggestion to you is that you create a listing and keep it right above your sold items that explains you didn't realize you weren't supposed to sell electronics and that you are now following all posh rules. Make sure you don't do paypal either. Although it's against the rules the email thing probably won't prevent a host pick. Some ladies on here have exchanged emails because they've become friends. Posh just wants to make sure everyone is safe and that all transaction details are discussed on posh in case of a problem.

elisehunter Hi sweetie. Yes, they fall under accessories. You can sell cases but of course not the phones or electronics and no earbuds or headphones. I know they are accessories too but you can't sell them. I'm going to write to support so I have a good answer for that. 💕💞💕

mishmesh I'm in the same boat and have lowered my prices and it doesn't seem to help either. I have good quality items and am afraid people will think there is something wrong with the item if I keep going down also. I am trying to take pics with the clothing on and see if that helps, but I'm no model and I'm not digging that lol. I figured maybe it was my photos and the lighting outside on a person might. Wishing you the best and if there's something I can do to help let me know. ❤
