This was the first computer available in the US for under $100 dollars.
From the web...
Design: The Timex Sinclair 1000 was a slightly modified North American version of the British Sinclair ZX81 computer. It used a standard black-and-white television set as a display monitor and an audio cassette recorder for program storage.
Memory: It originally came with 2K of RAM, double that of the earlier UK version. An optional 16K RAM expansion pack was available.
Keyboard: The computer featured a membrane keyboard, which was a cost-saving measure but often considered one of its major faults.
Programming: Users could buy pre-programmed cassettes with games, but the computer was primarily used for programming in BASIC.
This is a really nice example of TS1000. Selling as-is just what is pictured.
Comes with the computer, power adapter, and RF cable. The RF modulator is built into the computer board.
Unfortunately, I cannot test operation. I don't have an analog TV.
Selling AS-IS as a result.
