Timeless Vintage 1960s Blue Polka Dot Shirt Dress with Pleated Skirt Classic

I love this dress! Polka dots always make me happy, and I love this color combination. It’s blue (not quite as dark as it looks in the photos) with cream/off white polka dots. Dress features: 3 Button front with a clasp style hook/eye at waist Pleated full skirt with below knee length Lined skirt only Sleeves with elastic V neckline Fold down collar Fitted waist There is an inverted pleat in the middle of the back 3 pleats/gathers on the top front of each shoulder There aren’t any labels and I believe this dress was custom made for the original owner, many of her clothes were. The inside side of a seam is stamped “SCREEN PRINTING 100% PURE SILK”. Dress is in very good vintage condition and was beautifully made with a hand stitched hem. There are a couple of very slight discolorations that may come out with cleaning, but I cannot guarantee it. They are barely visible and do now show up in photos. It smells a bit musty. I am airing it out, but it will probably still smell musty upon arrival after being boxed up for a few days in transit. Measurements are taken with the garment laying flat and doubled as appropriate. Measurements are of the garment itself, so please be sure to leave room for your body and movement as fabric is NOT stretchy! Bust measured just below the armholes: 37-39” Waist: 27” Hips: 37” Overall length from center top of shoulder to hem: 41” Sleeve length from shoulder seam to cuff: 15 1/2”
