bthiss @ling_annie That's a good question because a lot of brands do run small. My measurement at 8 1/2 inches puts them at a size 5.

bthiss As far as true to size I would say if you're in between sizes it is not a bad idea to size up especially in the winter if you have a thicker sock.

ling_annie @bthiss That’s helpful! Appreciate the clarification. I’m between 5 and 5.5, so it’s hard to get the right size especially for winter shoes because like you said, once I put on socks, they may be too snug. But sometimes the particular model may run big and if I go half a size or a size bigger, then it’s too loose - have barely worn shoes sitting in my closet because of this issue.
