erinthirteen @megs7641 the top measurement is 17”. The elastic gusset would maybe add about 1” to that, there is about an inch of Velcro but it would show if you needed it to be attached any wider then 17” but you might be able to get it a half inch or so tighter conversely. The bottom is 14” and fits snuggly over the bootie. Let me know if you have any more questions :)

erinthirteen @megs7641 it’s just the whole measurement of it laying flat side to side on the top edge ;) the unopened version is 8 1/2” across.
