Because there is no armhole under which to measure the fullest part of the bust, we measured across the top edge of the dress where the dress grips above the bust and under the arm,. On the size 6 this is 33 1/2".There additional fullness in the front of the dress created by shaped princess seaming. That said, if you prefer to try the dress on, we are in Brooklyn and I drive into Manhattan pretty often....Please let us know if you'd like that option. All Our Best, Sharon

shamannuptex @nknyc Hi Nina! Pardon my frankness, but your profile picture looks like you’re pretty small. Since you’re in NYC and we’re in Brooklyn, you are welcome to come try the dress on. I actually did this yesterday with a client who wasn’t sure about taking a size 4(she’s normally a 2).
