This Limited Edition (4E/2826) WAR PONY is 7” long x 7 1/2” high. It is NWT, in original packaging and has never been displayed. The Trail of Painted Ponies is one of the most successful public art projects of all time. Born and bred in Santa Fe, this popular public art project invited artists to transform life-size horse sculptures into stunning original works of art. In 2001 these dazzling painted ponies were exhibited throughout New Mexico and later auctioned to raise funds for non-profit organizations. In 2003, Westland Giftware began creating small replica figurines as collectibles.
