katrinamartin07 Hello! I live in Washington and I'm looking for a new raincoat. Is this more of a windbreaker light raincoat, or could this keep me dry in a proper down pour? I ride a bike every where so I want to make sure it won't soak through. Thank you!

cstearn @guerita2004 hello, I’m so sorry, I never saw this message! There are no rips or stains—I wore it a few times, but it just doesn’t fit me correctly so when I moved I decided to leave this out of my wardrobe :)

cstearn @katrinamartin07 hi! Thanks for your comment! :) I haven’t worn this jacket in a while, but I remember it being fairly good at keeping you dry. However, I don’t think it will stand up to a full-on downpour, so I don’t know if it’s what you’re looking for :(

cstearn @katrinamartin07 I’m not sure if this helps you, but I currently live in Denmark (where it also rains a lot!), and there’s a designer called Ilse Jacobsen Hornbæk. I have 2 of her coats—light and heavy—and they are SO GOOD at keeping me dry! I’ve been in all kinds of rain and it’s never soaked through to my clothes. I checked the website and unfortunately you can’t order it to the US, but if you see one of those anywhere, that might be what you’re looking for 😊
