Size : Medium Color : Brown (it’s a deep, rich brown) Special Features : Removable Hood, Waterproof, Hyvent, 3-in-1 Triclimate, Windproof, Multiple Ventilation Zips for Breathability As triclimate, there are essentially two jackets - the outer waterproof shell (with removable hood) and a removable insulated layer (puffer) that can be worn individually or together. The two jackets connect to one another through fastening loops / tabs on the wrists and neck that snap or loop into corresponding points on the outer shell. This prevents the inner layer from shifting while you are active. I bought this jacket brand new for an extended winter trip from an authorized The North Face seller. Since that trip, it’s been in a vacuum sealed garment bag for safe keeping. I’m cleaning out my wardrobe and it’s time for it to find a home where it will get some use. By all accounts, it’s in GREAT condition - all zippers are perfectly functional, no rips or tears. I was planning to say it’s in excellent condition, but when I unfastened the two jackets from one another, I noticed an oddity on the back left shoulder of the puffer. (see photos for reference) I almost missed it. I can’t say what it is or what happened, but I can say it’s the only area where that appears.
