I selected youth for size but this can definitely fit an adult. I wear an extra large for any hat and I can fit it on my head but it is not comfortable. If you are an adult and buy large hats this likely will not fit. It does not stretch much. Not sure if it is officially a youth or adult hat. I would classify it as more of an adult small or medium.
