The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - Black and Gold Edition

The Hunger Games is a dystopian novel set in the nation of Panem, where the totalitarian Capitol forces each of the 12 districts to send two teenage "tributes" to fight to the death in a televised annual event. The story follows 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who volunteers to take her younger sister's place and must survive the deadly games, a cruel punishment and means of control by the Capitol.
