“The Grace Jacket”

“The Grace Jacket” : This unfinished piece is posted in case a buyer wants to customize it as it’s completed. The bottom two pockets will be “Grasp” for the way friends grasp you in moments of need and “Grow” for the way all of this comes together to help you evolve. I will add tiny neon pink or neon green Alice-in-Wonderland-esque accents on each flap that read “open”, “lift”, “look inside” and “see” which connect to messages printed on the inside of the flaps. I will also add figures similar to the one next to Grieve, and the arms will be elevated as well. The back of the jacket currently has the Scarface piece and underneath it, the word “Greed” scrolls through. There is a narrow pocket at the top that has a zipper; upon opening the zipper, the pouch will be painted gold and the word “Grace” will appear. It’s through Grace that we have grit within, friends that grasp us when we need them, support through our grief and the ability to grow. Optional QR code that leads to a Canva website where you and those close to you can enter examples of grit, grasp, grow, grace and the things you have grieved. Can add patches and pins as well and customize messages or leave pieces out. I’ve added some examples of patches that could be part of the customization, but I have many more.
