The Familiar Dark novel by Amy Engel author of The Roanoke Girls paperback book

I loved this book but it’s ready for a new home. A great read for those who love murders and mysteries. Book shows signs of living in a night stand and falling asleep while being read. Other than that it’s in good shape. 📕 The familiar dark opens with a heartbreaking murder in a small town in the Missouri Ozarks. Eve Taggert, desperate with grief over loosing her daughter, sets out to uncover the truth about what happened. Eve is no stranger to the dark side of life, having been raised by a hard-edged mother whose lessons Eve tried not to pass on to her own daughter. Her quest for justice takes her from the seedy underbelly of town to the quite woods and, most chillingly, back to her mother’s trailer for a final lesson.
