This is the Doobie Brothers' second studio album, Toulouse Street, originally released in 1972. The album established the band's signature twin-drummer sound with the addition of Michael Hossack. It features the hit singles "Listen to the Music" and "Jesus Is Just Alright". The cover photos were taken in a former brothel located on the actual Toulouse Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The album incorporates elements of folk, R&B, gospel, and hard rock.
