tpeck @janismarie Oh I'd love to see them! I remember my mom bought a bunch of handmade Barbie clothes at a church craft fair one time. I got them for my birthday. I mean tons of stuff...ball gowns with rhinestones sewn on, dresses, hats, even a little fur wrap...I was in fashion heaven!

txblingqueen @tpeck I’m guilty. It was a learned behavior. The one I can’t stand is when they call me lady. I don’t know Why that one bothers me. Hun and dear are not as bad as “Lady” ! But I am old to most millennials. Lol. Love this post.

tpeck @txblingqueen LOL ma'am is fine if you're younger than me. it's just manners (yes ma'am, no ma'am ,etc). I'm 63 and cannot stand it when someone much younger calls me hun or doll. I think that's condescending. I was born and raised in Texas and was raised to be respectful. I think younger people think that if they call an older person "hun" then the older person will be flattered. But no. 😂.

txblingqueen @meffergirl I totally get it. I’m born and raised in Texas and I’m turning 61. I like to use the term dear or beautiful a lot. Just because I have so much Love ❤️ in my heart. Happy 4th gorgeous. That’s what my husband calls me. Lol Only in his eyes.
