Lying flat, the holder measures @8" x 5.5". It has some give and stretch so should accommodate the size of your tumbler well. The bottom width is around 4" then graduates slowly to the 5.5" at the top. The actual bottom diameter circle is somewhere around 2 1/4" up to 2 1/2" depending on the holder, and blends into the sides with a sewed edge which also is stretchable.
