Temple St Clair 18K 32" Crimson Leather Cord (2024)

This is one of Temple St Clair's highly sought after jewelry cords in red. I was on a waiting list for over a month until the red became available after it sold out last year. She offered the cord in three color ways, but clearly this crimson red is the most fabulous. The cord is versatile for a variety of reasons. Since the leather is tubular, it rolls naturally on the neck. Additionally, the 32" length is wonderful to either double up as a choker style, tie it in a knot to hang long, or as shown in the third photo, make one knot and loop a charm through the ends. Temple founded her company in 1986 in Florence, Italy beginning her collaboration with the centuries-old Florentine goldsmiths guild. In the years since, she has built her brand around a combination of distinct personal creative vision, and a deep reverence for art, design and craftsmanship through the ages. In 2017, Temple became the only American jewelry designer whose work is represented in the permanent collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts at The Louvre in Paris.
