He is in great condition for a bear this old. The only tag on him is "made in Japan". I was told he is probably from the late 40's / 50's when I found him at an estate sale. He's tightly stuffed with excelsior, wood wool dwill and is a stiff fabric. He'is not a toy but is a precious collectable!!
