Separate volume, bass and treble controls as well as selector switch, am/fm and aux settings, for use with an external MP3 player or CD player etc. Sound is very good for such a small radio, also has internal Nickel Cadmium battery for portable use. Nice carrying handle. Good quality, built well. Never used, it has been stored in the box since purchased.
