This marked Taxco vintage mixed metal cuff bracelet features 5 strands, with undulating strips of copper, silver and brass. It is marked “Taxco” as shown on the inside of the bracelet. Items with this stamp were hand made by local artisans in famous Taxco, Mexico. It looks similar to pieces made by artist Roy Nilson and also artist Sergio Lub. A comfortable, fantastic piece to wear everyday.

Width (narrowest part): 1 cm
Width: (widest part): 2.5 cm

Silver has a long and rich history in Taxco, Mexico that extends back to well before Spanish colonization. Taxco is one of the oldest mining sites in all of the Americas. Today, silver is no longer mined in Taxco itself — the mines are empty! Silver is mined in a town several hours away, and brought to Taxco. Feel free to ask questions, and enjoy!
