@sewergoblin yes! I will mail it with the box. The tamagotchi will be "on" with a new battery though because I replaced the dead battery with a new lithium coin one a couple days ago. (It was tricky but doable, but I did not add any plastic between the battery and the conductive circle in the back plate to prevent it from turning on.) So if you receive it through the mail, it will be an angel/dead, but you can just press the reset button on the back and start a new game!
