I purchased for a beautiful party last year and had it dry cleaned, but never had an opportunity to wear it again! Downsizing my closets dramatically for a move. I am 5’4’and a solid 18. The dress hits me just below the knee. It is not tight and has generous sizing. I especially love the darts in the back that are hugely flattering while the draping in the front hides a tummy. The material is very luxurious and heavy. It definitely has a shine, but is not shimmery or overly done! Talbots is who we depend on for all of the Christmas parties and events where we know appropriate dressing is the Way to go!
