It has a top zipper with leather matching pull and brushed gold hardware throughout. There is a zippered pocket on the front of the bag with beige fabric interior. The pocket is at the top of a flap that lifts up, but has nothing under it. It is an interesting detail. There are also shallow zippered pockets on each side at the bottom. They do open up and you could put change or keys in them if you like. The back has a pretty shaped placard like the front shape. It does not lift or open in any way. Inside, there is a zippered pocket on the back wall as well as the Talbots logo plate. On the front side of the interior, there are two slip pockets, a larger and a smaller one. The smaller one has a leather piece that pulls over it with a magnetic snap.
