One highly decorative coin, silver in color, (1.5 In. in diameter) is from the Department of the Navy. It commemorates the Naval Training Center in Orlando, Florida, which was active between 1968 and 1998. It was decommissioned on December 18, 1998, in a formal ceremony on the grounds of the former training center in Orlando. The second coin (1.5 In. in diameter) is solid brass and is from the Department Of Defense Finance And Accounting Service Center, which was also located on the Naval training base in Orlando. It was closed shortly after the naval base was closed. It features an eagle and olive wreath, numerous stars and other features on the front and back. Both coins are in very good shape. The Defense Finance An Accounting coin is encased in plastic. Both coins were given to the seller by personnel in both organizations. (SEE PHOTOS)
