TREG & CACE Artglass Zanfirico Filigree HBlown Shell Sculpture

Murano art glass sculpture of an oversized shell designed by Treg Candace. This is a fabulous oversized art-glass sculpture of a shell that remind us of the beach. The gorgeous piece has been created by the artists Treg Candace Silkwood. This vintage hand-blown sculpture has been crafted in solid glass showing several Muranese techniques, such; Zanfirico, Latticino and Filigree, with many rows of very fine latticino in thick and thin ribbons of blues, white, and sand-colored. This sculptural piece is from their shells series collection, called XL Latticino Conch. This oversized piece is extremely decorative and will stand up in your home or office. Treg Candace Silkwood Treg Silkwood was born and raised in the valley of the Yellowstone River in Montana. Silkwood earned his BFA in glass from Alfred University, and studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague and at Illinois State University. Treg has spent over twenty -five years of his life mastering the skill and art of blowing and sculpting glass. Candace has spent nearly forty years exploring numerous art forms from painting to sculpture and has over fifteen years experience working glass. Together, Treg and Candace create unique, one of a kind, handcrafted glass and sculpture largely inspired by the natural world.
