Although my addiction to Poshmark has been growing, I've found myself talking to myself about some things that truly annoy me, that I bet annoy other folks! So, I decided to stop talking to myself and share some of the things I actually find myself saying over and over. Maybe you have thought of a few of these things, too, or maybe you didn't even consider them but, here they are if, for no other reason, but to provide some comedy! Some of these really aren't funny, but downright rude.

kontogonis @bamabelle96 dead serious. So annoying. I'm not even gonna accept. I'm gonna let her payment default. Or, maybe I will and rate her with comments/feedback about the slow shipping. Either way it doesn't make a difference. I'm sure she doesn't care... it's for a $10 item so WHO CARES but it's the principle ya know? 😑

bamabelle96 @kontogonis I have decided that I'm going to start declining shipments, and put in a claim with PM. This one Posher posted a pair of J. Crew suede boots... mentioned the brand in her description and tagged it as J. Crew... DIDN'T use the disclaimer "tagged for exposure". The boots were so not J. Crew and not packaged well so they were damaged in the shipping and her measurements were way off! I put in a claim! #foolishness Who in the world has time for that? People need to stop it.

kontogonis @bamabelle96 #helladumb That's so lame! Luckily I've had very good experiences for the most part. The only bad ones have been related to cosmetics being poorly packaged or not packaged at all and arriving totally ruined. Ugh! And then the girl says "sorry I didn't know" even tho her closet was FULL of sold makeup listings. Whatevs. I hate it when people don't ship/don't accept tho. I ship within 24 hours always! Very rarely has it taken longer and I have to wait for funds to default often.

bamabelle96 @kontogonis I'll tell you what's becoming annoying and I wish @poshmark would fix it: if you are watching an item, and the seller drops the price, you get a notification, right? Cool.

bamabelle96 @kontogonis How about when you then rush to the listing to purchase only to find it's already sold... I think that sellers negotiate offers, and when it sells at the lower negotiated price, you get the alert that the price has dropped... because it sold at the lower price. I wish the notification would say the item has sold, not the current "lower price" alert... And have a setting that allows you to turn off or on notifications for sold items. #IJS

kontogonis @bamabelle96 Yeah, sometimes instead of making an offer thru the offer button buyers will comment to try and get the seller to drop the price on the chance the item gets chosen for reduced shipping. I think that's why you're missing out on the price drop cuz it's prearranged and the intended buyer is waiting to pounce. Lol!

kontogonis @bamabelle96 Yeah, pretty sure that's how that happens... I feel it's much more appropriate to not discuss the prices in the comments. The most I will ask is "are you willing to negotiate through the offer button" just so I don't waste our time by making an offer if they have no intention of replying. Hahaha! But it does bug me when people comment "lowest?" etc. Great way to start out my day though-- with a laugh from you girl!

She finally started lowering the price to something more reasonable since the item required QUITE A BIT OF SPECIAL CARE... dry cleaning... all the buttons replaced... repair the lining...

kontogonis @bamabelle96 lol! It's all good. I am currently looking for temp work til my regular summer job opens back up and I'm strugglin. Can't exactly support a family on Posh- at least I can't. Mine is turning 2 soon and it's crazy! Time flies. Well if I see any J. Crew etc for reasonable prices I'll point you towards it.

kontogonis @bamabelle96 you're a peach! 🍑 clothes are abundant. The only things I ever NEED are diapers and formula. Cuz she's still on those two things. We're working on potty training and it's fun but slow going. Haha! I'm gonna quit the formula soon too. But if I think of anything available on Posh, I'll for sure let you know to keep your eyes peeled! Thank you!

kontogonis @bamabelle96 I buy Enfagrow "toddler next step" cuz it's the ONLY one available here for her age. All the others say ages up to 1 year. Haha. It's $20 a piece for the 24oz powder can. Not sure about down south but here in Alaska everything is expensive.

She didn't list obvious flaws on the boots or show on pics so I refused them. The spider totally boggled my mind. I mean, if you know they've been sitting around for long while wouldn't ya look inside before ya shipped 'em?!?!

kontogonis I am having reverse issue here. I have been shipping all packages same or next day (like always) and this last week 4 different buyers didn't bother to release funds. I am beyond broke at the moment so right now to me it was a big deal. I kind of went psycho. 🙄 Woops. UGH!

thegetfitnurse I don't think it's cool at all to mistag a brand EVER, not even for exposure. If you want your item to get exposure, keep sharing it, follow a lot of people, share their stuff, and get them to share yours. I can't tell you how annoying it is when I am searching my brand and I get all kinds of "brand listed for exposure only" crap.

bamabelle96 @kontogonis So... the sentiment of picture #3 happened to me just today! I "liked" an item... the only "like" the item had - no comments, updated by the Posher months ago - and she raised the price by $5 dollars (from $30 to 35) and Poshmark registers the price increase as a "lower price" WHICH IT WAS NOT. I offered her the amount ($28) I had planned to offer at the original price and she counters at $32... Folks need to stop it. #IJS

As soon as I made that decision, I get a random sale for some shoes that’ve been posted for MONTHS... I send them NEXT DAY like always - rain or shine, right? - and I’m so upset: she gave me one star because she says the shoes are “blue not black”... I never once said they were black. No. Ma’am.

kontogonis @bamabelle96 what an idiot. I still get them too. I also did the math and figured out that only 30% of my buyers actually leave ratings. LOL! 70% of my total sales have been left to default for the 4 days. What is that? I’ve been late on rating my purchases a few times but 7 out of 10 just neglecting it? Wtf.
