Here is the charming First Edition of Dare Wright's first children's book, THE LONELY DOLL. It features the large black and white photographs Dare Wright took of her own doll, Edith and two bears, which make for a fascinating story. It was the first of nine Edith and the Bears books. Published by Doubleday, this is a treasured classic. VINTAGE condition, acceptable for enjoying the story. It's a hardback book, much loved, with many smudges, old white stickers, and evidence of tape, and at least one small tear in the bottom margin at the back.
