Each bag includes a wide array of comfort items that have been asked for from the hospitals resource center including: blankets, hats, warm socks with grips, snacks, water, candies, coloring books, cards, notepads, pens, word searches, hand sanitizers, lotion, chapstick, and so much more. We want to make sure people have a nice bag of items that help get them through those long days spent at the hospital. During this journey I have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful souls who have moved me and really reinforced why I do this. One of those amazing people was Chris. I listened to Chris talk about how she wishes someone would just ask her how she was feeling and listen because people don’t like to hear when things are bad or scary.
