s_chelseaaa Thankfully I got one, but resellers like you are the reason real Swifties can't get any merch.

shopmisssophia @s_chelseaaa I think it’s more of an inventory issue honestly. In the grand scheme of things, there are not that many resellers and resellers don’t have that much supply to sell items out in minutes. Certain items just don’t have enough stock compared to other, “less desirable” items. What’s stopping her team for simply making more cardigans or snow globes that people want when they know there is a huge demand? 🤔 They certainly have the resources to meet the demand.

s_chelseaaa @shopmisssophia I agree that more could be made, but why are these "fans" reselling in the first place?

s_chelseaaa @shopmisssophia These resellers aren't real fans. There's literally no need to resell these items for triple the prices. It's greedy and pathetic. Everyone on Taylor Nation's Instagram page agrees with me.

s_chelseaaa @shopmisssophia Retails for $35 but reselling for $125? Absolutely pathetic.

s_chelseaaa @shopmisssophia There are SO many resellers out there! I see them reselling merch for triple the price all the time.

shopmisssophia @s_chelseaaa Yeah I think the only real solution is to make more inventory then people would never go to resellers. I also don’t see the problem with people buying items at a higher cost, if they want to, when they miss a limited release drop or didn’t have the money at the time but save up for it later. No one is forced to pay more for merch, they simply have the option.

shopmisssophia @s_chelseaaa The only real solution is to make more supply for high demand items and if they wanted to they would. They probably benefit from the engagement on their website every single day or the marketing around items. I guess they do what they do for reasons we may never know. Just like resellers do what they do for reasons we may never know and I would hope they would be treated with respect and kindness.

shopmisssophia @s_chelseaaa It might seem greedy and unfair (or even pathetic) on the surface but resellers aren’t billionaires or companies like UMG or even close. The profit margins for resellers are a drop in the bucket compared to the real winners.

dallywag @shopmisssophia I love when fans of a capitalist queen hate on capitalism 🤭 The ✨ irony ✨
