TASTEFUL 1950s' GREEN FELT HAT WITH GATHERED FRONT & DOTTED VEIL

What a beautiful millinery creation from the 1950s'! The hat is made of beautiful green felt, which is shaped into a cap. The front and sides consists of gathered felt, which adds drama. There are bows at the back at each side, and a full matching dotted veil finish the look. There is an elastic band attached to the inside to keep the hat in place. Throughout the 1950s, ladies wore hats daily as a part of their attire as was a pair of gloves. To preserve its market, the millinery industry set about creating variety and extravagance. They were now touted as the essential accessory to complete the ensemble. Label: BRIGHAMS - Springfield, Mass.
