Creamer / mini pitcher in her "Sunflowers" pattern by Island Worcester Pottery of Jamaica, designed by Vera Neumann. These pieces are hand painted under glaze, which means the paint is sealed under a clear glaze and cannot be scratched or worn off. This makes a great gift because the sunflower is considered a powerful and positive flower that represents strength, happiness, loyalty, and good luck. Condition*: Excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks. The pottery is hand made & hand painted so it is not perfectly uniform and some tiny defects are part of that process, for example the creamer has a light brown spot on the rim of the spout (see photo), and a few other small discolorations under the glaze. I have sold her pieces before and they all were like this so I believe they are under the glaze and part of its creation process.
