Styx Paradise Theatre

Styx album Paradise Theatre, a 1981 concept album. It was the band's most commercially successful album, reaching number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The album is a fictional account of the rise and fall of the real Paradise Theatre in Chicago, used as a metaphor for America's changing times in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The cover features the marquee of the fictional theatre with the words "Temporarily Closed". It produced several hit singles, including "The Best of Times," "Too Much Time on My Hands," and "Rockin' the Paradise". The album was certified triple-platinum by the RIAA.
