ndiangecloset @diva2012 thanks for the inquiry this is not sterling silver - it is silver tone and considered to be costume jewelry, so yes I believe there may be the possibility of it turning. However you would treat it like any other piece of jewelry- handle it with care do not put any substances on it, wipe it with a clean dry cloth and it should last.
