Please note that I did have a cobbler sew the strap in place. The few times I used it, the strap would always slip out. It is sewn in a length that makes it permanently cross-body. You could always remove those stitches if you wanted it to be adjustable again. There are some signs of wear notably scratches on the metal and leather as noted in the additional photos.
