The Stone Island x Tokyo Design Studio x New Balance FuelCell C_1 ‘Tan’ reunites the partner brands on a collaborative running shoe built with exaggerated cushioning. Composed of synthetic and organic cotton materials into a single knit, the upper features beige and grey tones in a subtle camouflage pattern inspired by archival Stone Island garments. A magnetic speed lacing system provides easy on and off. New Balance’s Flying NB logo is embroidered atop the vamp, while an enlarged and molded version of the Stone Island Compass is integrated into the heel cup. Responsive cushioning arrives via a bulky FuelCell midsole, enhanced with a full-length carbon fiber plate.
