Steven Kaye Navajo Signed Hand Carved Hand Made Hanging Planter Southwestern Steven Kaye has been a professional potter for more then 25 years. In 1984, he established his studio in Tempe Arizona where today he continues to create his unique one of kind pottery made of a finely grained earthware clay and fired at a temperature up 1800 degrees. 26" circumference widest 8.5" across top 6" from top to bottom wrapped around It seems that the actual name of the piece is "Navajo" as Kaye has no tribal affiliation. There are holes on the top for cords to make this hang and slits in the side for drainage. Guessing this is fine for indoor or outdoor use (though might bring in during winter). Really, all in all, rather fabulous!
