Steve Madden combat boots

Reposhing this item I purchased from @rmoats. The given size is 7.5, however I wear a 7.5 in all shoes and boots, and these are about 1/2 size too small. They basically are a size 7 (my toe hits the end of the boot.). I have tried to wear them because they are pretty much perfect boots, but just too short. Width is great. Questions?
