Steve Madden Combat Boots Stone leather

Bought them from a poshmarket seller with original box, it was almost 99.9% new and tried to break in a little in the house, the interior leather doesn't seem to be genuine leather( either PU or other) which is different from my old boots and it cracks and flacks, they are very pretty and seller claimed to be original as Steve Madden seem to have an affordable product line.
