Sterling Silver Siam Lightening Goddess Brooch

Vintage sterling silver lightening goddess brooch from Siam. The pin features Niello dancers or Ramakien characters from the classic Hindu story that was converted to Thailand religious mythos. Siam is the former name of Thailand. The country changed their name in the late 1940s and Siam pieces like this were most commonly made from the 1920s-1970s. The brooch is stamped sterling and is in excellent condition. Brooch measures 2" x 1"
